Position: Head of Institutional Sales, China

Location: Beijing or Shanghai

Purpose 目标

To lead the subscription sales of BMJ publications (including online resources of medical academic journals, clinical decision support tools, clinical training and research skill development resources) to Chinese healthcare institutions (especially the Tier 3 hospitals in Beijing and/or Eastern China). The post will report to Managing Director for China, and work closely with teams of sales, customer services, marketing, business development, etc. based in both China and the headquarter office in London

Responsibilities 职责

● Develop and execute the strategies and business plans for subscription sales and renewals, against market analysis; this includes but is not limited to the activities listed below
● Secure continuous revenue growth via direct sales and maintenance and development of sales channels
● Manage signing and delivery of relevant contracts, maintain healthy customer and partner relationships
● Coordinate support from marketing, product, business development, and customer support teams
● Contribute to the work led by other teams for product development, pricing policy, service planning, and market promotion as needed
● Develop and manage sales workforce as needed
● Manage relevant budget
● Monitor and report on sector movements

Qualifications and Experience 资历和经验
● 8+ years relevant experience and good success records
● In-depth understanding in the healthcare institutional market in China, and wide network with target customers and agents, especially those in Beijing or Eastern China, are essential
● Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including language skills in business English
● Highly efficient, independent, and problem shooter
● Professional background or sector experience in clinical medicine, medical education and research is desirable
● Experience in relevant marketing, customer service and team development is desirable
